Mega Man Mega Buster Shell to be used with the Ping Pong Ball Launcher

$1

These are the files to print out a shell designed to look like the Mega Buster from the Mega Man series. They include:

-The main shell or "body" stl file & gcode file (for using PLA+ with an Ender 3)

-The front shell or "mouth" stl file & gcode file (for using PLA+ with an Ender 3)

-The Shell Bolt stl file & gcode file (for using PLA+ with an Ender 3)

^^ (this should use a high infill to avoid stripping the space for a philips head)

This shell is designed to work in tandem with my other design for sale: the ping pong ball launcher files. So once you have one of those assembled you can get these files to print and use with it. The way it assembles is, you place the launcher inside both halves of the shells, screw the front shell into the launcher using the launcher's thread, then use 4 shell bolts to secure the front to the back shell. If you want to use real metal bolts instead of the 3d printed ones, I reccomend Hillman's #7719 machine screws & nuts. My previous design used magnet to connect the launcher to the front shell and glue to secure the 2 shells so this redesign was to address both of those by replacing them with better solutions. Finally, you'll need a rubber band to cover the ping pong ball loading shaft.

I used Orca Slicer to slice the two shells so that they would have scarf joint seams. If you need to slice the stls to work with another model printer or material, I used "cubic" infill pattern at 7 % infill density for the shells.
